The Experience
Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet will offer Cedar Lake 360 July 11-29, 2011 concluding with performances of a new installation by Artistic Director Benoit-Swan Pouffer.
All students will begin day with one ballet and one repertoire or modern class daily during first two weeks. Afternoons will include choreography with Artistic Director, Ballet Master and company members. Final week will include technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and three installation performances in company theater.
The Installation
Part choreographed dance performance and part interactive installation, each installation bridges the gap between dancer and audience by merging the two in the most literal sense. Audience members are invited to move freely within the same space in which the dancers are performing. The physical elements of light, space, sound, and movement are all here, but experienced through the unpredictable and surprising conditions created by the live performance of the 16-member Cedar Lake company.

The Audition
Cedar Lake will be holding auditions for 16+ years of age. Check website in September for a complete list of audition cities and details.
Audition will include ballet class, company repertoire, prepared solo, improvisation and interview. Audition fee is $40. Cash or money order only.
Dancers admitted to Cedar Lake 360 will be notified by March 14, 2011.
If unable to attend DVD submissions are acceptable. DVD must consist of a 2-3 minute solo. All DVD submissions must be received by February 1, 2011. All DVD submissions will receive a response letter by March 14, 2011. Audition fee is $40. Money order or Paypal only.

Fees for Cedar Lake 360 are $1425 ($475 per week). A deposit of half total tuition is required by April 15, 2011. Remaining balance is due June 1, 2011. Refunds less a 10% administrative free will be made through June 1, 2011. No refunds will be made after June 1, 2011. Admitted dancers must attend entire 3 weeks.
